What the blind can see clearly – a lesson to be learned

Hellen Keller, “Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of human kind as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or it is nothing at all.”

Keller’s quote embodies the sentiment of my book, Reckless But Lucky (2018), and persists throughout my new upcoming book, Follow Your Dog.

My daughter Lyndsay and granddaughter Dezla, defying death.
