I awoke, confounded by a dramatic image. I was standing at the front of a huge open auditorium that reminded me of Rome, where I had won my first world championship in free-style wrestling. I stood naked and sweating, my body blocking the audience’s view. There was a wood-stoked fire behind me, and a group of strangers to the side who were pushing up a stark but sturdy wooden cross. Wait! I recognize some of them – my family! Holy Kant! What is going on? My own family, how could they?
The story ends with right concept, right justice, and right to choose (women and men). Pick up my book, Reckless but Lucky (2018), for the rest of this fascinating story.
